Recent analysis by industry experts, The Sponsor, indicates that this partnership continues to be highly lucrative for Arsenal.

The Sponsor’s study used industry benchmarks and Premier League fair market value criteria to determine that the Emirates deal should be worth £48.5 million per season.

In reality, Arsenal earns £50 million annually from this deal.

Over the course of the five-year agreement, this totals £250 million, surpassing industry expectations by £7.5 million.

Arsenal’s Challenge to Compete with Big Six Rivals

Despite the impressive Emirates deal, Arsenal still trails behind its Big Six rivals in commercial revenue. In the 2022-23 season, Arsenal generated a record £173 million from sponsorship and merchandising.

However, this figure is overshadowed by the earnings of Manchester City (£341 million), Manchester United (£303 million), Liverpool (£272 million), Tottenham (£228 million), and Chelsea (£228 million).

To close this gap, Slot and new partnerships director, Omar Shaikh, will need to leverage Arsenal’s improved on-pitch performance.

Their challenge will be to further enhance the club’s commercial appeal and secure additional lucrative partnerships.
