This comes amid growing speculation linking the Dutch forward with a potential move to the Emirates.

Speaking to the media about his long-term future, Brobbey was asked which club he dreams of joining.

His response will surely excite Arsenal fans: “Arsenal, I think that is a very nice club.

If you look at that stadium. A very nice club, but that also applies to Manchester United, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

I have a contract until 2027. At the moment I am just with Ajax.”

Arsenal’s Primary Targets

Reports this week have suggested that Arsenal have now identified Brobbey as a primary target up front, with the player valuing himself at around €80m.

This means the Ajax centre-forward could see his wish fulfilled sooner rather than later.

However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has advised patience.

He writes that while Brobbey is being touted by some as Arsenal’s primary striker target, the club is still assessing their options internally, with several names being considered.

Until a final decision is made, it’s impossible to confirm who their main target will be.

Brobbey’s Impressive Season at Ajax

Brobbey has enjoyed a prolific season with Ajax, scoring 22 goals and providing 12 assists in 43 appearances.

Most of these contributions came in domestic competitions, with the 22-year-old managing an impressive 29 goals and assists in 31 Eredivisie matches.

Despite these impressive statistics, it’s worth noting that success in the Eredivisie does not always translate to the Premier League.

Therefore, signing Brobbey would represent somewhat of a risk for Arsenal.

However, his young age and evident desire to play for the Gunners could make him a favourable backup option initially, with the potential to compete for a starting spot once he’s adapted to English football.

The prospect of adding another talented young forward to their ranks, particularly one who has expressed such admiration for the club would be a great start for the club and its fans.

As the summer transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on the Emirates to see if Brian Brobbey will be wearing the famous red and white shirt next season.
