Arsenal have been linked with a move for RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa, with the Norway international emerging as a target for the north London side ahead of the next transfer window.

According to Fussball News, the Gunners are the latest club to register interest in the 21-year-old, who has continued to build his reputation in the Bundesliga.

Nusa has made a strong start to the campaign, scoring three goals and providing two assists in six appearances. A Premier League move was expected during the last window, but no deal materialised, leaving Leipzig in a position of strength.

The price gap

The report claims Arsenal are considering an opening offer worth around €40 million. Leipzig, however, value Nusa at between €60 million and €65 million, and his contract runs until 2029 — leaving the German club under no pressure to negotiate.

Leipzig are also said to have no intention of selling in January, and Nusa himself is not pushing for an exit. Any deal would require Arsenal to move significantly closer to Leipzig's valuation.

The interest comes after a summer in which Arsenal's wide areas were reshaped. The club sold both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, with Christos Tzolis the only arrival on the left flank — a single addition for two departures.

That arithmetic explains why the left side of Arsenal's attack is being flagged as an area for reinforcement when the window reopens, either in January or next summer.

A crowded queue

Arsenal are far from alone in tracking Nusa. Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among the leading contenders, while Newcastle United and Aston Villa are also monitoring his situation.

The interest stretches well beyond England. Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and several Serie A clubs are said to be following the Norwegian's progress, meaning any pursuit would come with serious competition attached.

Nusa fits a profile Arsenal have leaned into in recent windows: young, direct, and already tested at a high level in one of Europe's major leagues. At 21, he would also arrive with significant resale value and room to develop.

It is worth noting that this report originates from Fussball News rather than a tier-one source such as David Ornstein or Fabrizio Romano, so the usual caution applies at this stage. Interest and a formal approach are very different things, and nothing in the report suggests Arsenal have made contact with Leipzig.

With Leipzig holding firm on both their valuation and their stance on a January sale, the more realistic scenario appears to be a summer conversation. Arsenal's next moves in the wide positions will become clearer as the window approaches.
