While Martinelli faces doubts and Magalhaes‘s availability remains uncertain, Saka appears to be in a relatively positive condition.

“I do expect Bukayo Saka to be fit,” stated Watts, easing concerns among Arsenal supporters.

According to his sources, Saka’s withdrawal from the England squad was due to a “slight muscle injury,” not deemed serious by the club’s medical staff.

“From the conversations I’ve had, I do not get the impression that his withdrawal from the England squad is much to be concerned about,” Watts added.

The Gunners will make a late decision on Saka’s inclusion for the City clash, but there’s optimism that he will be available for selection.

“Arsenal will make a late call on Saka, but the hope right now is that he will make the trip to Manchester.”

The 22-year-old has been a linchpin in Arteta’s setup, showcasing his versatility and impact across various positions.

His absence would undoubtedly be felt against City, given his ability to influence games with his creativity and work rate.

As the final decision looms, Arsenal supporters are hopeful that Saka will pass the fitness test and play a crucial role in what promises to be a fiercely contested match.

With both Arsenal and City eyeing the top spot in the league table, every player’s contribution could be decisive in shaping the title race.

The anticipation builds as the Gunners prepare for this high-stakes encounter.

Arsenal’s trip to the Etihad Stadium carries immense significance, and having Saka in contention adds another dimension to Arteta’s tactical plans.
