Arsenal Set To Move For Sander Berge Again

According to reports from Norway, Arsenal are set to try and sign Sheffield United player Sander Berge, after they failed to secure his signature last winter.

The 22 year old book Sheffield United’s transfer record in January after signing for Chris Wilders newly promoted side for a fee close to £22million. Since then, Arsenal have continued to monitor Berge, who they would like to line-up alongside Thomas Partey. Norwegian newspaper VG have claimed that Arsenal are interested in making another attempt to sign him, with Mikel Arteta looking to further strengthen his midfield, but it would depend on whether the blades are relegated.

With the Sheffield United sitting rock bottom of the Premier League after having claimed just one point out of a possible 27, Arsenal could face competition from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham who were also interested in the Norwegian.
