Arsenal Trains in Philadelphia Ahead of Liverpool Match

Arsenal took to the training pitch on Tuesday ahead of the preseason match against Liverpool on Thursday. New signing Riccardo Calafiori was spotted in training. Arsenal will continue to prepare ahead of the opening match of the season on August 17th against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Mikel Arteta was not shy of his praise for new defender Calafiori:

“We know other clubs wanted Calafiori, but he really wanted to sign for Arsenal.” Mikel Arteta said. “That was great when I spoke to him. He was adamant, ‘Let me know when you’re ready, my bags are ready, I just want to come to Arsenal!’”
