Carragher claims Arsenal will have 'no problems' beating Everton

Jamie Carragher does not expect Arsenal to break a sweat against Everton this weekend. The former Liverpool defender, now a prominent pundit, has backed Mikel Arteta's side to brush aside David Moyes' Toffees with relative ease in the latest round of Premier League fixtures.
Arsenal travel into the weekend looking to extend their strong form and keep pace in a title race that remains tightly contested with Manchester City. Everton, under Moyes, have shown they can be competitive against stronger sides and will be aiming to push their own case for European qualification.

What Carragher said
Carragher gave his predictions across several of the weekend's standout fixtures. Speaking about the slate of games, and quoted by the Metro, he said: ‘What a cracking line up we have in the Premier League this weekend.’
He continued: ‘I don’t think Arsenal will have any problems beating Everton especially given how strong they’ve been this season.’
Carragher also touched on other fixtures taking place this weekend. He predicted Liverpool to end Brighton's winning run at Anfield, and tipped Chelsea to beat Spurs at home on Saturday.
No room for complacency
Carragher's confidence reflects the broader perception of Arsenal's season so far, but Arteta will be wary of taking the result for granted. Everton have a squad capable of causing problems for top sides, and Moyes has built a reputation for organising his teams to frustrate stronger opposition.
With Manchester City continuing to apply pressure at the top of the table, Arsenal cannot afford to drop points carelessly. A disciplined, attacking performance will be required to see off an Everton side determined to make life difficult at every opportunity.
Arsenal's approach to fixtures like this one, against teams outside the traditional top bracket, has often been scrutinised in title races gone by. Converting pundit confidence into three points on the pitch will be the real test this weekend.
Should Arsenal get the job done against Everton, it would represent another step in maintaining momentum through a congested period of fixtures, with the title race showing no signs of easing up.
