Arsenal's interest in Endrick has not gone away, and the Brazilian's lack of minutes at Real Madrid could reopen a door that closed in the summer.

The Gunners pursued the forward during the last window as they looked to add another attacking option to the squad, but Endrick opted to stay in the Spanish capital and fight for a place under Jose Mourinho.

That decision has not yet paid off. The 20-year-old has been unable to force his way into Mourinho's plans, with the Real Madrid boss preferring other options in the final third.

Arsenal keeping tabs on the situation

According to Caught Offside, Arsenal are monitoring Endrick's situation closely ahead of the January window, and they are not alone — several clubs are expected to take an interest if he becomes available.

The report states that Arsenal rate Endrick highly and believe he deserves more game time than he is currently receiving. The club reportedly view him as one of the better players in Europe currently short of opportunities, and are prepared to consider an approach in January if the attacker becomes open to a move.

A second January exit?

If Endrick does leave the Bernabeu in the winter window, it would be the second consecutive January in which he has moved on in search of minutes. For a player of his age and profile, regular first-team football is the priority, and Madrid's squad depth has made that difficult to come by.
