Eberechi Eze says he is enjoying life in Arsenal's attack, crediting the quality of the players around him for creating a stream of chances in every match. The comments came after Arsenal's 3-0 win over Lille in the Champions League, a game in which Eze got on the scoresheet himself.
Eze operates across midfield and the left wing for Arsenal, tasked with both creating for his attacking teammates and chipping in with goals of his own. Speaking after the Lille victory, he made clear how much he is relishing his role in Mikel Arteta's side.

Eze on Arsenal's attacking options
According to quotes carried by Arsenal Media, Eze said: “It's fun! You know that opportunities are coming all over the place, so you've just got to be ready, be in the right places, be in the right spaces to get on the end of stuff. It's a fun team to play in!”
He continued: “It was an enjoyable performance from all of us. We dominated the game, and we enjoy winning, so that's the main thing.”
Eze also touched on his own mentality within the squad, adding: “I always want to play, always want to score, and that's the mentality. I'll keep pushing and keep working.”
A collective effort in the final third
Rather than dwelling on his individual goal against Lille, Eze's comments leaned heavily on the collective nature of Arsenal's attacking play. He pointed to the number of players capable of making an impact in the final third, suggesting that the variety of threats makes life easier for everyone involved, himself included.
That kind of depth has been a feature of Arsenal's squad building in recent seasons, with multiple players able to operate across midfield and attacking positions. Eze's willingness to highlight teammates over himself reflects the dressing room's shared focus on results rather than individual output.
His determination to keep contributing, whether through goals or chance creation, will be welcomed by Arteta as Arsenal continue their Champions League campaign. With competition for places high across the forward line, maintaining that mentality is likely to matter as much as raw output in the weeks ahead.
Arsenal will look to carry the attacking fluency shown against Lille into their upcoming fixtures, with Eze's comments pointing to a squad that feels confident in its ability to create and convert chances regardless of personnel.
