Harry Kane admitted Bayern Munich 'probably didn't get enough right to deserve the win' after Arsenal fought back for a 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League on Wednesday night, with the England captain echoing the sentiments of his own teammate.

Alphonso Davies and Kane put the German giants 2-1 ahead before Declan Rice struck late to rescue a point for Arsenal, who had earlier levelled through Eberechi Eze. Speaking to DAZN at full time, Kane gave a measured assessment of how the game had unfolded.

Who's out, who's back and what it means for the next two games.

"I thought it was a good performance. I think for large spells of the game, especially the start of the second half, we had a real intensity," Kane said. "We looked dangerous, we got the goal and we had a moment to kill the game off. We had the momentum, they looked tired, but then we got caught in a low block for the final 15 minutes and they punished us with the goal."

The former Tottenham striker, who knows plenty about facing Arsenal from his years in north London, was blunt in his conclusion. "The draw was probably a fair result overall. I think we could have been a bit more clinical in the final third. But there are a lot of games, we've got a lot of players with injuries who are missing tonight. In the end, we'll take the point and move on."

Kane praises Arsenal's physicality and structure

Kane also pointed to the physical battle that unfolded in Munich, suggesting Arsenal matched Bayern in the duels for long periods. "It was a battle. Every duel was important. They look for the second balls and build from there into the game. I thought we dealt with that for most of the game pretty well."

He added that Arsenal grew stronger as the match opened up. "As the game got a little stretched towards the end, they grew into it and they're a good physical team. Like I said, with the games we're playing, it's about every little detail. We probably didn't get enough right to deserve the win."

Bischof says Arsenal 'wasn't just any opponent'

Kane's teammate Tom Bischof offered a similar verdict, describing Arsenal as a side capable of punishing any lapse in concentration. "When you take the lead late, it's disappointing to not take three points. We had good phases in the second half, settled in up front, but Arsenal are a good team. They applied pressure and got their goal."

Bischof went further, highlighting the gulf in quality compared to a routine fixture. "This wasn't just any opponent. We maybe needed to be a little more disruptive and annoying in the challenges as well as clever," he said, quotes relayed via football.london.

The result leaves Arsenal unbeaten in the group and with credit in the bank heading into the next round of Champions League fixtures, having earned respect from opponents who know what it takes to compete at the top level of the competition.
