Lille head to the Emirates Stadium for Tuesday's Champions League clash with two significant absences, after confirming right back Tiago Santos has suffered a serious knee injury that will rule him out for a lengthy period.
Santos was stretchered off just 17 minutes into Lille's win over Le Havre at the weekend following a mistimed tackle from Amir Richardson. The club have since confirmed the extent of the damage, with a statement revealing the 24 year old suffered a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, along with a meniscal tear.
