Arsenal Sets £25m Asking Price for Mikel Arteta’s ‘Unbelievable’ Signing from Last Season

Arsenal has now set their asking price for Jakub Kiwior, a player Mikel Arteta welcomed to the club at the start of 2023.
As the summer transfer window heats up, Arsenal’s recruitment team, led by Edu, appears to have a busy July and August ahead.

Despite some ‘unbelievable’ performances at left-back last season, as praised by Ally McCoist, Kiwior struggled to maintain his form, often playing out of position.
Reports from Calciomercato suggest that Juventus is keen on signing the Polish centre-back, with Arsenal setting a price tag of €30m (£25m).
Napoli has also shown interest, but Juventus considers Kiwior a priority, even identifying Jean-Clair Todibo as an alternative if Kiwior remains in North London.
Arsenal’s Transfer Ambitions
Arsenal is actively pursuing new signings, with Riccardo Calafiori being a notable target.
Reports from Italy indicate that Arsenal is progressing in talks to sign the player, hoping to outpace competition from Chelsea.
Calafiori’s potential arrival might prompt Kiwior’s departure, particularly with Bologna showing interest in bringing him back to Italy.
Arsenal also aims to bolster their squad with a new central midfielder and forward this summer.
There is speculation that the new midfielder could be a number six to complement Declan Rice, who is expected to continue playing a more advanced role than he does for England.
However, these new additions will require departures to raise funds and create squad space.
As Arsenal looks to reinforce its squad, departures are inevitable.
Kiwior’s move is just one of the potential exits being considered to facilitate new signings. The club’s strategy hinges on balancing incoming and outgoing players to optimize the squad’s performance.
