About Ezri Konsa
Ezri Konsa is an England international centre-back who joined Arsenal from Aston Villa on 21 August 2026 for a fixed fee of £51m plus £4m in add-ons, signing a four-year contract with a club option for a further year and taking the number 15 shirt. Born in Silvertown, Newham, he came through at Charlton Athletic before a season at Brentford and seven years at Villa, where he made more than 200 Premier League appearances and won the 2025-26 Europa League. Comfortable at centre-back or right-back, he won more ground duels than any other Premier League player in 2025-26 and was signed to succeed William Saliba at the heart of Mikel Arteta's defence.
