Ezri Konsa: Transfer Story
Arsenal completed the signing of Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa on 21 August 2026, the same day the champions opened their title defence against Coventry, for a fixed £51m plus £4m in add-ons after Villa had initially demanded £60m. The 28-year-old England international agreed a four-year contract with a club option for a fifth season and was handed the number 15 shirt, arriving as the replacement for William Saliba alongside fellow summer arrivals Piero Hincapie, Christos Tzolis and Bruno Guimaraes.
