TEAMtalk reveal that the Gunners are moving swiftly to secure new talent, targeting several high-profile forwards.

Arsenal Target Joshua Zirkzee and Benjamin Sesko

With the anticipated departures of Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal are in need of bolstering their strike force.

Joshua Zirkzee has emerged as one of the top targets for the upcoming transfer window.

The Dutch striker has caught the attention of Arsenal’s recruitment team, and they are well-positioned to make a move for him.

However, Zirkzee is not the only player on Arsenal’s radar.

The club is also eyeing RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.

The Slovenian forward, who has a release clause set at €50m and a contract running until June 2028, is being monitored by top European clubs.

Sesko’s impressive performances have made him one of the most talked-about players ahead of the summer transfer market.

Competing with Chelsea for Sesko

Arsenal are not alone in their pursuit of Sesko. Chelsea are also interested in the talented attacker as an alternative to their main target, Victor Osimhen.

Both Premier League clubs are keen to strengthen their attacking options, and Sesko fits the bill for Arsenal’s needs, offering different skills compared to Zirkzee.

While Arsenal are serious about Sesko, they are also keeping an eye on Ivan Toney.

However, they have no current plans to invest in Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres.

Discussions between Arsenal and Leipzig are expected to take place soon to iron out payment terms and other details related to Sesko’s release clause.

European Clubs Eyeing Sesko

Interest in Sesko is not confined to the Premier League.

Clubs across Europe, including Napoli and AC Milan, have shown keen interest in the Slovenian striker.

Napoli see Sesko as a potential replacement for Victor Osimhen, who is likely to leave at the end of the season.

However, Napoli’s failure to qualify for the Champions League complicates their pursuit.

AC Milan, meanwhile, have tried to negotiate a lower price than Sesko’s release clause, but Leipzig have stood firm.

Milan are now exploring other options, such as Serhou Guirassy and Jonathan David.

Despite these challenges, the likelihood of Sesko leaving Germany remains high, and Arsenal are in a strong position to capitalise on this opportunity.

As Arsenal prepare for a busy summer transfer window, the focus on strengthening their attack is clear.

The upcoming talks with Leipzig could be pivotal in securing one of Europe’s most promising young forwards, setting the stage for an exciting new era at the Emirates.
