However, it seems that other clubs, such as Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), are leading the race to secure his signature.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Arsenal’s approach was more of an initial inquiry, made weeks ago, and Osimhen is not particularly interested in joining the Premier League at the moment.

Will Victor Osimhen sign with Arsenal?

Reports suggest that Osimhen is leaning toward a move to PSG, making them his top choice.

Despite this, PSG’s situation is complicated, as they face limitations in their ability to sign forwards.

Meanwhile, Chelsea remains determined to bring the centre-forward to Stamford Bridge.

Fabrizio Romano, another respected journalist, reported that Chelsea has consistently been in the running for Osimhen, although the striker is firm on a permanent transfer and is not willing to compromise on his salary demands.

Romano was less certain about Arsenal or PSG’s involvement, mentioning that he’s unaware of any active negotiations with clubs other than Chelsea.

He did note that PSG had initially received positive feedback from Osimhen but then shifted their focus to other targets.

Challenges in Completing the Transfer

Osimhen has expressed his desire to leave Napoli this summer.

However, the transfer appears challenging, with only one club currently in serious talks and no indication that they are ready to meet Napoli’s demands.

Osimhen, who scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 32 games this season despite some injury setbacks and his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations, remains a sought-after player, but his future is still uncertain as negotiations continue.
