Arsenal Star Reaches Personal Agreement, Clubs Negotiate £50M Fee

Eddie Nketiah Could Leave Arsenal This Summer
Arsenal has been relatively quiet this summer, with their only completed deal so far being the permanent signing of David Raya.
However, this is about to change with the imminent arrival of Riccardo Calafiori.

Eddie Nketiah Potential Departure
As Calafiori prepares to make The Emirates his new home, Eddie Nketiah might be on his way out.
Arsenal has placed a £50 million price tag on Nketiah amidst interest from French club Olympique Marseille.
Sources reveal that Nketiah has agreed to personal terms with Marseille, though the two clubs are still negotiating the transfer fee.
Arsenal is aiming for a higher fee than the £35 million Monaco paid for Folarin Balogun last summer.
Arsenal’s Future Plans
Nketiah’s departure could pave the way for Arsenal to bring in a new striker.
Despite Gabriel Jesus showing promise under Mikel Arteta, his four league goals last season fell short of leading Arsenal to the Premier League title.
Arsenal needs a consistent goal scorer if they are to challenge Manchester City for the top spot.
Ian Wright has praised Nketiah as “fantastic,” but his goal record wasn’t enough to secure a first-team position.
As negotiations continue, Arsenal remains focused on strengthening their squad for the upcoming season.
Arsenal Join in Xavi Simons Race
Xavi Simons, the talented Paris Saint-Germain attacker, has recently been linked with several top Premier League clubs. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle United are among those showing interest in the Dutchman.
In June, Arsenal reportedly made initial contact for Simons, followed by Newcastle earlier this month, and Liverpool have been closely monitoring his situation.
However, Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich are now leading the race to sign the 21-year-old attacker.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Leipzig are confident of securing a loan deal for Simons, with PSG unwilling to sell him outright.
Romano suggests that Leipzig are set to sign Simons on another loan deal, placing them ahead of Bayern and the Premier League clubs in the transfer race.
